On a yearly basis, Breckenridge Open Space & Trails sets an ambitious work schedule to accomplish a variety of projects. These project range in scope from new trail construction, river restoration, forest health and habitat preservation. They are planned in advance, approved by BOSAC through an annual work plan, and implemented by the Open Space Trail Technicians, contractors, partners and volunteers.

Please join us! The Friends of Breckenridge Trails program has many volunteer opportunities ranging from tree plantings and weed pulls to trail construction. These volunteer days allow citizens to participate in open space protection through volunteer stewardship. See the complete list of summer volunteer dates here
