Currently Adopted Building Code

The Town of Breckenridge is currently following these Code Standards:

THE INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE, 2018 EDITION
THE INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE, 2018 EDITION, INCLUDING APPENDIX F AND K
THE INTERNATIONAL PLUMBING CODE, 2018 EDITION INCLUDING APPENDIX;
THE INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL CODE, 2018 EDITION, INCLUDING APPENDIX A;
THE INTERNATIONAL FUEL GAS CODE, 2018 EDITION, INCLUDING APPENDIX A AND B;
THE INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE, 2018 EDITION;
THE INTERNATIONAL EXISTING BUILDING CODE, 2018 EDITION;
THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, 2023 EDITION;
THE ICC ELECTRICAL CODE – ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS, 2006 EDITION;
THE UNIFORM CODE FOR THE ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS BUILDINGS, 1997 EDITION.

The Town of Breckenridge has the following amendments to the above codes:

2018 Code Amendments Effective January 15, 2020 (PLEASE NOTE: HAS BEEN AMENDED)
Energy Code Amendments Effective September 27, 2022

Fee Schedule Update Effective September 27, 2022
