The Summit Mountain Challenge (SMC) Mountain Bike Series was acquired from the legendary Jeff Wescott (Westy) of Maverick Sports Promotions in 2021. Breckenridge Recreation continues to aspire to Westy's goal: to create community through fun, affordable, well-organized athletic events.

The Fall Classic wraps up the SMC as the last big race in the High Country.
