The BOSAC meeting for October will be an all day retreat on Wednesday, October 29, departing Town Hall at 8am for Sky Mountain Park outside of Aspen (weather dependent).

Agenda:
7:45am: Arrive at Town Hall with mountain bikes and appropriate clothing.
8:00am: Depart from Breckenridge.
Arrive at Buttermilk Ski Area base area.
Meet with Pitkin County representatives regarding open space, and the Sky Mountain Park, which has some similarities with the Golden Horseshoe.
Tour the area on mountain bike (intermediate to advanced riding). Evaluate their management approach and trail construction / design techniques.
Topics of Interest:
    * Cooperative open space management among City, Town and County
    * Seasonal wildlife closures
    * Restrictions of dogs in the open space
    * Forest health treatments
    * Purpose-built trail networks: design and implementation
By 5:30pm: Return to Town Hall.
